New York Feb 2013

We we going or was the flight going to be cancelled, after the snow in New York on the 8th February 2013 it was touch and go to see if we would be going.  We were lucky our flight booked for the 9th was flying and we arrived to a snowy cold new york at midday on the 9th.

Here are some pictures taken with the new Sony RX1, in my opinion a great camera that handles pretty much all light conditions without the need for flash.  This was my first time with the camera and im pretty please with the results.

Carbis Bay – Hotel + Beach

Carbis Bay Hotel and Beach Suprise

My wife suprised me with a night away in Cornwall, one of my favourite places in the world, the place just seems to make me unwind and after the week I had it was just what the doctor ordered.  We stayed at the Carbis Bay Hotel, a newly renovated hotel.  Our room was lovely with a sea view and just perfect to unwind.  The place is just a little bit of paradise that I hope doesn’t get to over commercialised like some of its neighbouring villages in Cornwall.

Here are just a couple of photos of my stay.  As you can see the weather was stunning with that beautiful light you can get in and around St Ives.  This place is stunning for a Wedding Photography.

Rosey + Sam Mills

Wedding at All Saints Bristol and Webbington Hotel

Rosey and Sam  were married at All Saints Church Bristol on the 25th of August, the day was a typical bank holiday in the UK with the chance of rain.  Fortunately for the bride and groom the weather was lovely and the sun shone.  Rosey arrived in an open top morgan for the service which was followed by a reception at the Webbington Hotel.

James + Debbie

Wedding at Hestercombe Gardens – Debbie + James

Hestercombe in itself is a beautiful place. It’s landscaped gardens are amazing and ideal for pictures. So when guests were enjoying their afternoon tea we walked the gardens for some relaxed shots of the newly weds. Later that day, after a fantastic meal and some touching speeches, we headed out yet again to capture some more pictures as the sun was setting over the field. It was a truly perfect sunset, almost exclusive, like it was there just for them.
